Ryker's Birthday Weekend

We had a big time celebrating the Birthday Boy this weekend! I gave him the rest of his cookies and took this video for you since the pictures don't always turn out so good (since he moves so fast!).  (I don't know why my face looks all beat up. I wasn't wearing any make-up or anything, but still, lol...!! I guess I look older than I think I do!)

The "candy" was four things in the box that looked sort of like white peanut butter cups, so in the video I'm giving him one of those and also the BIG cookie that said "Happy Barkday!"

Cody (my cat) even tried to get in on the action, ha ha ha! He has no respect for the dogs at all and tries to eat out of their bowls with them at times. But they all tolerate each other!

(It was kind of cold and overcast and windy yesterday, and at one point the wind picked up and was making the camera lens bang against the camera, so that's what that clanging sound is. Sorry about that!)

Ryker's Big Farm Weekend

We spent several days at the farm outside of Abilene. I took all the dogs with me and between my four (including Ryker!) and my parents' dogs, there were eight dogs total, ha ha ha!! My parents currently have a foster dog named Rooster whose family is also stationed in South Korea.

They did lots of playing with each other and running on the creek, swimming in the tank and helped us feed the cows. Ryker did great around the cows! He didn't chase them at all! It's still extremely dry at the farm with the drought as you will see. :(

We went to the creek and shot the BB gun while waiting for the cows to come up.

Then we fed the cows. Ryker was really calm around them and was pretty much just standing next to me and watching during these videos.

We also shot the BB gun some in the back yard, lol. Mom took some pictures of Ryker in the living room watching football with us, but she hasn't sent them to me yet but I will get those to you once I receive them. We all had a great time, and my nephews enjoyed playing with him too! We took him swimming in the pond that still has some water in it, but I forgot to take my camera with me on that part to get pics or video.

He sure does like lounging in the guest room on this antique quilt, so I had to cover it with a sheet, ha ha!
